TVSEP presented at the Annual Meeting of the Allied Social Science Association in San Diego
The Allied Social Science Association (ASSA) held its annual meeting from January 3-5, 2020 in San Diego (https://www.aeaweb.org/). Each year the ASSA meetings bring together researchers from all over the world to discuss current economic topics. This year more than 10,000 researchers and scholars attended. Ute Rink and Wiebke Stein represented the TVSEP at the DFG “Research in Germany” booth in the ASSA Exhibit Hall, where they talked to interested researchers about the TVSEP database. Wiebke Stein also attended the AEA Poster Session and presented work from her TVSEP Add-On project on Behavioral insights into over-indebtedness within a vulnerable population. In their corresponding paper, Don´t expect too much – High income expectations and Over-Indebtedness, Wiebke Stein and her co-authors Theres Klühs and Melanie Koch, show that high income expectations are related to both objective and subjectively felt over-indebtedness.
