The project is jointly coordinated by Prof. Dr. Hermann Waibel, School of Economics and Management, Leibniz University Hannover and Prof. Dr. Stephan Klasen, Department of Economics, University of Göttingen. Prof. Waibel is responsible for data collection and data management and Prof. Klasen coordinates the generation of research output of international scientific data users. Prof. Dr. Ulrike Grote and Prof. Dr. Stephan Thomsen, Leibniz University Hannover, are deputy project coordinators. Prof. Grote supports the project activities in Vietnam and Prof. Thomsen in Thailand. All four researchers continue their scientific research agenda in agricultural and development economics based on the panel data set. The four researchers form a Project Management Team (PMT) with a clear assignment of responsibilities. The PMT is supported by national coordinators in both countries. Data collection builds upon the long-term collaboration with UbonRatchathani University (URU) in Thailand and Economic University Da Nang in Vietnam. In both locations the project establishes national data collection centers in order to guarantee the continuity and quality of the long-term panel data collection.
