On the 16th of July, a TVSEP team consisting of Prof. Dr. Nipon Poapongsakorn (Thailand Development Research Institute and TVSEP board member), Prof. Dr. Suwanna Praneetvatakul (TVSEP Co-PI), Prof. Dr. Thanaporn Athipanyakul, Prof. Dr. Uchook Duangbootsee (all Kasetsart University and TVSEP affiliates), and Prof. Dr. Ulrike Grote, Prof. Dr. Trung Thanh Nguyen and Prof. Kasem Kunasri (all Leibniz University Hannover) met with Prof. Dr. Sompong Klaynongsruang (Director of TSRI), Prof. Dr. Poolsak Koseeyaporn (Deputy Director, TSRI) Prof. Dr. Poon Thiangburatham (Deputy Director, Local Development Fund Administration and Management (PMUA) and Prof. Dr. Chakkaphan Sutthirat (Deputy Director) to discuss future cooperation opportunities related to the TVSEP project. TSRI is especially interested in evidence-based policy relevant for sustainable agriculture and rural development in Thailand.
