On 27. July 2026, Ulrike Grote and Trung Thanh Nguyen invited to a one-day workshop at the Institute for Environmental Economics and World Trade (IUW) in Hannover. The workshop was attended by two guest lecturers from Kasetsart University, Bangkok (Dr. Thanaporn Athipanyakul, Dr. Jumtip Seneerattanaprayul), two PhD students from the University of Cologne (Hoang Dieu Linh, Ole Lück) and several PhD students from Hannover (Philipp Albert, Robyn Blake-Rath, Matthew Donaldson, Kasem Kunasri, Tri Anh Nguyen, Nelson Ochieng, Giang Tran, Nguyet Tran). Presented topics ranged from impacts of wheather and health shocks, migration, energy poverty and trade to the use of the internet.
