Prof. Kalinca Becker from the Federal University of Santa Maria in Brazil, visited the Institute for Environmental Economics and World Trade, Leibniz University Hannover, for one year from April, 1 2025 to March 31, 2026. Her research focused on health (disability), income, and public policies of rural households in Brazil and Thailand. The data from Thailand was based on the long-term panel project TVSEP. The research was also presented a couple of times at TVSEP workshops in Hannover and Cologne. Her research stay was funded by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq/Brazil).
